Bouzy, a village in Champagne

Bouzy, the cradle of our family estate, is a winegrowing village on the southern slopes of the Montagne de Reims, between Reims and Épernay, the capital of Champagne. The reputation of the wines produced here goes back to the court of the kings of France, and more particularly to the century of Louis XIV, the Sun King.

Since 1895, the Bouzy terroir has been classified as a Grand Cru, a guarantee of the quality of its vineyards and its wines. Only 17 of the 320 communes in the Champagne AOC are classified as Grand Cru.

We are proud of our region and actively participate in its economic and social dynamism.

The Echevins de Bouzy

The Échevins de Bouzy were created in 1980 by fifteen or so Bouzy winegrowers. Their motto: "To defend and illustrate, at all times and in all places, the wines of Bouzy".

Jean-Christophe Delavenne was its President from 2014 to 2022.

Pinot Noir & Chardonnay

Our Champagne is made only from two grape varieties: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

The Pinot Noir is distinguished by its red fruit aromas and its marked structure.

The Chardonnay brings delicate aromas, floral, citrus, and mineral notes to the wines.

From yesterday to today

We take great care of our land, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015, by practising an environmentally friendly viticulture: working the soil, sexual confusion, sparing use of phytosanitary products, waste management, traceability, etc. The estate is in the process of obtaining the Organic Agriculture certification.

We design Cuvées that magnify the richness and plurality of our terroir. They leave their mark on our wines and give them a real singularity.

Each of our plots, even the smallest, reflects our terroir and all its diversity.

Ambonnay

Ambonnay is also a terroir classified as Grand Cru.

It is located two kilometres east of Bouzy. The predominance of the Pinot Noir combines body and fruitiness and gives power to our wines.

Bouzy

Its famous hillside is part of the Côte des Noirs.

Classified as a Grand Cru since 1895, it enjoys a southern exposure and a sunny climate that is unique in Champagne, which explains the exceptional maturity and quality of its grapes.

Cramant

Cramant, south of Épernay, is the jewel of the famous Côte des Blancs.

Classified as a Grand Cru, the wines produced here combine suppleness and finesse, with lighter aromas, synonymous with freshness and elegance.
